iPhone 12 Pro Max Battery Life, Not Good Enough For Gamers?

In a trial run by Phone Arena, Apple managed to effectively improve this battery life despite its small capacity. In moderate use, the battery manages to last a day and a half.

This is due to the A14 Bionic 5-nanometer chipset which only needs less power. It also makes the battery life of the iPhone 12 Pro win over last year's iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11.

Although moderate use of the iPhone 12 Pro wins, it is still less heavy than any device that uses a large battery.

From the trial, when playing Youtube continuously, the iPhone 12 Pro lasted only six and a half hours. In addition, when used to play games with 3D graphics, the iPhone 12 Pro lasts only three hours.

This is a far-off number compared to many competitors, even with last year's iPhone. But again, this is a small battery capacity issue.

So, if you're an iPhone user as well as a gamer, the most suitable is still the iPhone 11 Pro. Because even though the iPhone 12 Pro has too much power to play the game, the battery is still less powerful.

It's good news if you're a regular iPhone user: social networking, Youtube streaming, listening to podcasts on the go, and email and chat for work. iPhone 12 Pro will very well give you a full day without charge.

iPhone 12 Series Battery Capacity

After long-running speculation, Apple has finally revealed the battery capacity of the iPhone 12 Series. It's a 'tradition' for Apple not to share the spec sheet too much at its launch event, and focus more on key features.

This time, Apple slightly reduced the battery capacity on the iPhone 12 to accommodate 5G antenna components, modems, and even larger cameras. The dimensions are slightly smaller than the iPhone 11 series. So it seems reasonable that the battery size is shrinking.

Nevertheless, Apple this time pinned the OLED display as a whole which made it more battery efficient. In addition, a 5-nanometer processor is certainly more power-efficient. Optimization of apps such as video streaming, increasingly maximized by Apple.

Apple even claims that the battery life of the iPhone 12 series will be on par with the iPhone 11 series which has proven to be good durability. This is with the exception of the iPhone 12 mini which due to its small size, certainly the ultimate battery capacity becomes a casualty.
